Sinead joined our team in May 2004 from our Irish Office 12 Travel.com where she had previously been working for 4 years.

Why did you join My Guide Britain?
I joined the company here in Wales as it was a good opportunity for me to live and work in the UK as well as well as being able to travel and see more of Britain, as I love to travel.

What is your favorite part of Britain?
My favorite part of Britain would be Edinburgh City. I lived there for 4 months and just loved it. The Edinburgh Castle situated in the city center surrounded by the Princes Street Gardens is just beautiful.

What is your favorite visitor attraction?
This would be Coch Castle or as it is know as the “Fairytale Castle” just outside Cardiff. It is set up in the hills among the trees and looks outstanding from a far.

What is your favorite British food and restaurant in Britain?
I had dinner at the Newbridge recently in Newbridge on Usk and the food there is outstanding, especially the Chocolate Soufflé – mouth watering!!.

Where do like to shop?
Cardiff City has to be the best place to shop by far with such variety on shopping and the convenience, its great.

Favorite getaway in Britain?
My favorite getaway would have to be London. This city has so much to offer with its wide variety of shops and with all its sights to see.

Given your experience what advice would you give to people coming to Britain?
I would definitely advise anybody traveling to Britain not to rely on the weather here as there will always be a change of Rain!! No matter what time of the year.
